DIMO, with over 35 years of excellence in vocational education, has been appointed as the local representative for Germany’s No.1 ranking University for Applied Sciences, FH Aachen University. Sri Lankan students can now enroll in the world-renowned Freshman Program at FH Aachen, a one-year foundation course designed to prepare international students for university-level studies in Germany. This program acts as a bridge between school education in the student’s home country and university studies in Germany, offering a “soft landing” with comprehensive support and integration.

Through this new venture, DIMO will facilitate the placement of local students in Engineering, Medicine, Business/Economics, Art, and many more degree programs offered not only by FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences but also by other prestigious partner universities, including SHR Hamm, Südwestfalen University of Applied Sciences, University of Duisburg-Essen, and HBK Essen University of Fine Arts.

DIMO will assist students in selecting the right degree program that aligns with their career aspirations by analyzing their current qualifications through an initial screening process. The company will also provide individual guidance on university applications, ensuring students meet all documentation requirements.

With over 14,500 students, nearly 2,000 graduates annually, 10 departments, around 90 courses, eleven in-house and five affiliated institutes, as well as four competence platforms, FH Aachen—with its two locations in Aachen and Jülich—is one of the largest and most important universities of applied sciences in Germany. The university offers students a globally recognized degree that prepares them for successful careers in modern and future-oriented industries.
